PANEL 1: EMILIANA stands at the podium, lit by a spotlight. EMILIANA: Cousins, a fool will do anything to deflect from his shortcomings. PANEL 2: Silhouette of EMILIANA as she continues. EMILIANA: Ask yourself: how DID the Nyx slip by Caye’s third fleet? How did the Nyx even know where Tierra WAS? Did a captain under Caye’s command break the dictate? PANEL 3: Close in on EMILIANA as she waves her hand. EMILIANA: Cayetano talks a big game TO DISTRACT YOU from a lifetime of failure. PANEL 4: Extreme close up on EMILIANA. EMILIANA: Are we going to forget how he bungled the battle of parlay, until OTHERS saved the day? Are we going to forget how he neglected fleet expansion, until Ramiro forced the issue? PANEL 5: From behind EMILIANA at the podium, a view of the audience, CAYETANO stands up and points at her as he bursts out loud. EMILIANA: …AND HAS BEEN FEEDING FLEET INTELLIGENCE TO THE REBELS? PANEL 7: EMILIANA at the podium, lit up with a spotlight, holds up the glowing glass tablet. EMILIANA: You’re not the only one with data, Caye. —— Want to read the full story? Join us at Patreon.com/drive for the *FULL* Tales of the Drive archives, art giveaways, fun community, and more!
