PANEL 1: In a medieval town, a peasant holds a scroll, mouth wide open like he is yelling a proclaimation. A wealthy man in scale armor stands next to him, hand up in a fancy pose.
TEXT: In the year 979, Duke Charles of Lower Lorraine founded the city of Brussels.

PANEL 2: A woman in 15th century dress stands smiling and holding her arms up. She stands in front of elaborately chiseld wood door and stone masonry, with windows with diamond patterned glass.
TEXT: And by the 15th century, the city had become a flourishing captial of the Burgundian state! Famous for it’s art, architecture, and tapestry.

PANEL 3: A couple in 17th century french satin garb stroll together. The man with a ruffles coming out of his collar and sleeves, holds a fancy walking stick. The woman, with large curly wig, smiles with an open mouth, pointing at sometihng. In the background is the Grand-Place (or Grote Markt).
TEXT: In 1695, after Louis the Fourteenth’s troops devastated the city, Brussels had a chance to build anew. …Ultimately creating many of the city’s gorgeous, iconic squares.

PANEL 4: The EU Captial building stands in the background as a woman in modern dress stands at a lecturn, finger up in making her point. On the lecturn and the building hangs the EU-Oceanic flag - two intertwining circles of stars.
TEXT: But the city’s brightest days began in 2117, when — after 150 years as the de facto captial of the E. U. — it FORMALLY became the captial of the expanded European-Oceanic Union.

PANEL 5: A large, futuristic looking building rises above the city of Brussels. We’ve seen this building before - it’s the Panopticon of the Jinyiwei.
TEXT: In 2292, Brussels’ fate took a darker turn, when it became home to the PANOPTICON: The massive operations center of the Jinyiwei.

PANEL 6: A crowd looks up at the sky, all terrified. In the foreground, a woman with curly hair in an imperial uniform, a bald man in an imperial uniform look up at the sky in horror. A man in a business suit, also looking at the sky, holding his hand to shield his face. The lighting on the three people is harsh white.
TEXT: And in 2403, Brussels took its final breath, after 1,400 years of beauty, when it became the first city destroyed from orbit… during “The Razing of Tierra”.
SOUND EFFECT IN BACKGROUND: SHOOM
