PANEL 1: Location Tag: CIRCLE’S END We see a skyline of bright white buildings with trees on the rooftops, an empty street with foliage along the edge, and three Continuum ships in the bright sky with white clouds. From inside the middle building we see two characters speaking. GUARDIAN: Maker Prime? A moment of your time. MAKER PRIME: Yes, Guardian, how can I help you? PANEL 2: GUARDIAN, a short maker holding a staff, peers through a doorway, while MAKER PRIME, a tall maker with bands across his eyes and a cube floating above his head, stands at a transparent computer screen, hand on it as if he’s working. GUARDIAN: I wish to speak with you about Ahmis. MAKER PRIME: We’re DONE speaking of Ahmis. The full Colegium has reviewed the transcripts TWICE, at your request! PANEL 3: Close up on GUARDIAN. GUARDIAN: And you still won’t send survey ships to Vinnshasha? PANEL 4: MAKER PRIME reacts as GUARDIAN stands still. MARKER PRIME: We have a Vinn threat on our borders. I won’t waste ships on this CHASE Ahmis is sending us on. Making us look the fool again, no doubt. GUARDIAN: Then I must travel there alone. PANEL 5: MAKER PRIME turns his head over his shoulder to yell at GUARDIAN. MAKER PRIME: To Vinnshasha? NO! Absolutely not. I forbid it. GUARDIAN: But I am Keeper of the Hall of Spirits. PANEL 6: MAKER PRIME, in shadow in the foreground, replies as GUARDIAN shakes his stick at him. MAKER PRIME: SO??? GUARDIAN: So…my task was set forth by Shen himself. I AM THE FINAL ARBITER AND JUDGE OF EVERY SPIRIT BIRTHED BY THE CONTINUUM. PANEL 7: MAKER PRIME, in the background in silhouette, motions, while GUARDIAN turns away in his response.
