PANEL 1: GENDEN, the current leader of the Vinn, an armadillo-like creature with tusks, wearing a dark cloak, cowers in the corner of their room. The frog-like Vinn enters the room holding a tray of food. VINN: Genden, I’ve brought you your meal. GENDEN: Y-yes. YES. Set it down and go, please. PANEL 2: GENDEN shakes and cowers, holding their shoulders. GENDEN: NO. I WON’T TELL THEM. PANEL 2: The VINN approaches GENDEN, cautiously, who is still on the floor. VINN: What? GENDEN: Oh. Forgive me. that wasn’t for y- BECAUSE IT’S NOT THE PATH! IT’S NOT! PANEL 3: Close up on GENDEN as they continue their internal argument. The VINN is in silhouette behind him. VINN: Genden, are you feeling all right? GENDEN: YOU CAN NOT MODIFY THE CLEANSING. THE PATH HAS BEEN SET! YES IT HAS! PANEL 4: From over the VINN’s shoulder, GENDEN continues to cower on the floor. VINN: Genden? GENDEN: GO! I said set it and go NO I WON’T QUIET! PANEL 5: The VINN has exited GENDEN’s room.
