PANEL 1: A group of VINN gather in front of GENDEN, an armadillo-like alien with tusks, wearing a dark hooded cloak. GENDEN stands in front of the crowd speckled with black bars over their left eyes, on a platform in front of a window. Outside the window we see stars bluring past them, indicating the ship is moving quickly through space.
TELEPATHIC THOUGHTS, overlapping eachother: “Constant thrum of” “I can’t” “How can we function”
GENDEN: SETTLE, CHILDREN. SETTLE! As I said I would, I have spoken with the new souls about this gift of telepathy.

PANEL 2: Close up on GENDEN as they motion towards a GANNATH, a large spider-like alien, now with the VINN-rectangle over it’s two left eyes.
GENDEN: But, as you can guess, their cleansing wiped away all knowledge from antidecent lives. With their birth in the missing gods, they were MADE CLEAN AND NEW.

PANEL 3: Close up on GENDEN.
GENDEN: So! We are left to master this new gift on our own. As is right.

PANEL 4: GENDEN stands with their hands on the podium, stars bluring past them in the background.
GENDEN: To that end, I propose a week of ISOLATION AND MEDITATION. We will pause in the seeking. Brin gthe fleet to a stop. And we will turn inward.

PANEL 5: GENDEN, now in silhouette, holds their hand up. The stars blur behind them still.
GENDEN: And there, in the silence of our quarters, we will try to find our path forward.

PANEL 6: GENDEN starts to walk down the stairs of the podium, stars in the background window.
GENDEN: Alone, in prayerful isolation, surely we will find the answers we need. So let us go, children! Each to their own space…

PANEL 7: GENDEN holds the hand of a large GRASSKAN (with a VINN-rectangle over its’ left eye), while a young ASTINA looks on, nervously. A crowd of VINN are behind them
GENDEN: AND MAY THE MISSING GODS FIND US ALL.
GRASSKAN: May the missing gods find us all.
ASTINA: May the missing gods find us all, Genden.

PANEL 8: GENDEN walks past the GRASSKAN, the GRASSKAN looks to GENDEN, worried. No text.

PANEL 9: GENDEN walks down a long hall. No text.

PANEL 10: GENDEN walks in to a room as the doors open with a TSSS

PANEL 11: GENDEN kneels down on a pillow, and rings a chimp with a “ting!”.

PANEL 12: GENDEN, on their knees on the pillow, begins to meditate. Sound effect: HHHH

PANEL 13: Close up on GENDEN as they meditate. Sound effect: Hhhh….

PANEL 14:
TELEPATHY: AND CAN YOU NOW AT LAST HEAR THESE WORDS, GENDEN?
Close up on GENDEN, breaking their meditation. Their eyes are wide in terror.
GENDEN: Wh-WHO?!
