Drive

I know new Drive comics are still only a possibility, at this point, for readers...and many (unspecified time period) off, at best. And I know that the internet page itself had flaws in the way that impatient fans, unfortunate timing conflicts, or new media opportunities were manifested. And I know the idea of new Drive comics is a far more complicated issue than my mind wants it to be. But I'll just say it: I was really excited to see the addition of a new Drive comic.

I remember my first time reading through the Drive prologue, part I: And seeing the constantly, constantly, constantly evolving story line...as page after page got added, and the growing story line had to be reconfigured in all sorts of ways. But even as a fat neckbeard, I thought those days of an expanding Drive universe were behind us. That, after the the spark of thought specs in May, that was that.

So maybe it's the fat neckbeard in me, getting excited at this. A bit of slothful, righteous greed in the idea of Drive. But I can't help but be excited at the possibility of Drive's market scene as the beginning of many new panels.
